wait this was really awesome to see wow!!! I would love to share some content like this too, you've quickly become a super inspiration for me. omg I want to be a creative like you, can you talk more about the "discipline" that goes behind the "poster a day" challenge for example? I find it so hard to stick to doing one thing every single day? Like designing a poster for example, how do you find the freedom and also the boundaries to do something every day and call it done, do you set a timer? sorry for all the rant of questions jaja
Estefi! So glad this was inspiring. Really happy to hear that. Wasn’t sure how this would be received since it’s different from the other newsletters.
And the poster a day thing wasn’t easy but also after like 6 months things got busy so I didn’t necessarily do it everyday. But did it as often as I could! Even now I’m doing like a season too but i freelance full time so I just do it when I can. The idea was to always make something during my down time or make time to design. My suggestion to you would be maybe try it for a week. Or even 3 days. Set some time to design if you can. The goal wasn’t to make the perfect poster. The goal was just to make something 🙏🏿
Hope this helps! Maybe I’ll dedicate a newsletter to this topic and the things I learned during the process.
Thanks for viewing! Yeah I'm such an advocate for working on personal projects during down time. you learn so much about yourself and process and sometimes that can lead to an opportunity in the future!
