Beautiful vulnerable share about creative self-doubt, working through that by looking at what you can and can’t control, and choosing optimism.

I like the approach of switching to "what if I sell 100? 1000? 1 million?" But I also like the opposite approach ... "what if I only sell one but that person feels like it's the perfect jacket that they've always been looking for and they feel amazing every single time that they put it on?"

Truly love this. I've been dealing with this similarly in my music. I love your thought process when you started asking yourself those questions like "Can I control this? Yes, then do it, or No, don't worry about it." Those are very similar thoughts I have whenever I share my music. I'm actively working on my confidence when it comes to standing on my sound versus putting that determination in the hands of others - and this helped tremendously. Thank you so much for sharing this fam.

There are things that I haven’t followed through because of self-doubt. Now, I try not to think about the end result/final product and just focus on doing it because I always wanted to. Beyond that, what will be, will be. Ps. Dope jacket

I found this specific newsletter very helpful as I’m also navigating working to publish my work! Thank you for the gentle reminder of not only staying positive, but also walking us through navigating self doubt. I really enjoyed this: “ Whether I sell 5 or 100, I’m just happy I was able to bring this vision to life.”

As you said you can only control the direction of your attention and the amount of effort to put in that direction. The rest is a reflection of reaction and ego. Stay humble. Stay honest. Thank you for sharing <3
