Not too long ago, I designed a jacket for my wife.
It was a quiet thank you. A thank you for carrying our son, for becoming a mother,
for loving us with a kind of strength that never asks for credit.
And recently, I had the chance to do something just as meaningful.
But this time, for a father.
A friend reached out and asked me to make a jacket for her husband for Father’s Day.
There was no brief, no moodboard, no favorite colors.
Just a desire to honor the kind of man who shows up daily for his family.
You see, Fatherhood is layered.
It’s vulnerable.
It’s powerful.
And it’s hard.
This jacket was inspired by a question.
What does it mean to be a good father?
Is it being present—even when you’re exhausted?
Is it making room for joy while carrying the weight of responsibility?
Is it learning to be soft in a world that told you to be hard?
Is it sitting on the floor after a long day, letting your child climb all over you,
just so they feel safe in your presence?
Some days I look at my son and feel like I’m holding a miracle.
Other days, I feel like I’m fumbling through it.
But I’m learning that being a good father isn’t about getting it all right.
It’s about showing up.
Again and again and again.
With love. With grace. With presence.
That’s what I poured into this jacket.
I wanted to celebrate a man who is loving his family fully, loudly, and faithfully.
There’s something sacred about that kind of man.
The kind who may not post much about being a dad,
but lives it deeply.
The kind whose kids will never question whether they were loved
because they felt it every day.
This jacket was made for him.
For the kind of father who doesn’t ask for recognition but deserves it.
For the man who carries the weight of love with quiet strength.
Who leads with presence.
Protects with grace.
And builds a world his family can feel safe in.
Can I rock even as a dog dad 😂🙏🏼
You. Don't. Miss!!
