I’m sitting with this bro:

“Brokenness doesn’t cancel your brilliance.“

This one, bro! Had to come back and sit with it.

There’s so much rhetoric out there pushing the idea that “you’re not broken.” XYZ doesn’t make you broken. And I get it, I really do. But the truth is… there is brokenness in our being.

We carry fractures, traumas, histories we don’t always share. But our brilliance still shines.

1000% agree bro! It's not a matter of if we'll be broken but when and how we deal with it. But the brilliance, the gift..it's still in there.

The Title - Immediately my thoughts floated to my childhood...sitting criss-cross-apple-sauce in the corner of the kitchen floor with my BIG PRINT coloring books and all of my broken crayons {messy siblings}...but the life lesson, I've been broken inside + out and am my most useful now...scars, missing pieces, + all...what a beautiful reminder...thank you!

At the end of last year, I was still battling a lot of doubt. While I was doing my year end vision board, God gave me a new question to ask myself in 2025: What if things get better?

Oof that’s so good!! we spend so much time on ‘what if’ but in a negative sense.. “what if it doesn’t work..”

But I’m now putting more emphasis on the positive side of ‘WHAT IF’

What if things get better

What if this idea is the one to take me to

The next level

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for this. I’m in a season being broken myself and I’ve had a tough time processing it. This just showed me, maybe I need to channel it through new levels of my art. And also showed me that even what’s broken can be brilliant. ✨
